MOVEMENT! :) I called the agency today and asked about where I was on the wait list... I've MOVED. I'm number 7 on the baby boy list and 13 on the girls. PLUS they have a baby boy just being referred, so soon I'll be number 6! :) WHOO HOO!!! :)
In speaking with them they spoke about Ethiopian process changing. Now they have to have several letters for each child and have to have family members either show up at court or send a letter (and many do not write) to "relinquish" the child. She said that even for a child who had been in the orphanage for a year and is four, they had five letters proving that he was an orphan. I guess it is in the children's best interest but it is just slowing down the whole process.
So with Monday brings hope again. 7 is my lucky number and 6 is even closer! :)

What a great way to start the year! Congratulations! And thanks again for keeping us posted. Can't wait to plan a trip out to meet the little guy.
btw, have you decided on a name? Are you changing his given name?
So EXCITING! I'm so proud to know you Shawn - you are an amazing person. Any ideas what age range you'll be in...and a name?
My plan right now is to name the boy after my grandpa, Paul, but keep his Ethiopian name as the middle name. Girls... I don't know. The age will be between 3 and 17 months. ;)
